Our Mexico clinic was held in the local municipal building in the town of Macario Gomez, bringing first time dental care to children from the local community. Macario Gomez is the main town serving the nine villages of the Mayan zone situated in the central part of the Yucatan Peninsula.
Volunteers have worked in Mexico since 2020. During this time, local partners have pointed repeatedly towards this community with its dire need for dental services. Children in this Mayan Zone lack all access to dental care, which is both physically and financially out of reach.
In response, our volunteers just completed our June clinic in this location, providing $92,825 in donated dental care to children. We are so grateful for your support, allowing us to expand our reach to the children of Macario Gomez.
